My name is Megan. I live in a tiny town at the coast of Texas called Palacios. I'm about to turn 18 in October and I'm super excited! I recently got at job watching kids at the Boys and Girls Club and so far I really enjoy it. They love to keep me guessing with makes it exciting. My love for animals is undeniable. I've been a vegetarian since I was 8 and it's a huge part of my life. I love helping out at Pet Pals, my local animal shelter. My two dogs Cookie and Nixion are the loves of my life! I can't forget my wonder family. My parents always support me no matter how many crazy ideas I come up with. I have an older sister who is one of the most amazing women I've ever met and I'm so proud to be her younger sister. I can't go any farther without talking about my best friend. There is nothing I can't tell her and she always keeps me levelheaded. I like to think of her as my missing puzzle piece.  

I haven't always followed Gods plans for my life, infact I've made more than a few mistakes but going through this I realized that the whole time I was searching for something. Not realizing it was a relationship with God. I never doubted that Jesus is my salvation or that his word is true but I saw christians as hypocrites. It took a few years for me to find what I'd be searching for and ever since then I've been completely whole. I wake up and go to sleep thinking about him, I live and breathe his word and my every thought is filled with thoughts of him. I want everything God wants for my life and I know that he wants me to go on this missions trip. I'm looking forward to this trip so much and can't wait to meet everyone!
